About Andrew P. Doro

Andrew P. Doro is the founder, president, and CEO of Millbrook Support Services. This premier staffing firm provides in-demand physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals to private and government clients globally.

Doro manages the operations of Millbrook as CEO, overseeing the executive staff and being hands-on with all corporate affairs. Doro previously worked in the education sector in various capacities before joining the healthcare staffing market. Doro proudly served in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant. Doro, a New York City native, and Long Island resident, lives in Millbrook, New York but spends his time downstate in Manhasset (Long Island).

"It was an honor to serve my country in uniform, and I feel blessed and privileged to continue to serve my fellow citizens, government agencies, and commercial clients," Andrew Doro stated.

Andrew P. Doro founded Millbrook in 2003 to focus on education. However, the company later shifted its focus to healthcare staffing in 2015. Millbrook, an SDVOSB, provides physician, nurse, advanced practice provider, and allied healthcare staffing services to government agencies and commercial clients across the country.

Mr. Doro was the company's first visionary, designing the business plan, website, marketing tactics, internal systems, recruiting management process, bid proposal procedures, and strategic relationships that Millbrook needed to grow. He attracted a world-class management team by leveraging his extensive knowledge and commercial contacts.

Doro transitioned from the education sector to the fast-paced world of staffing and outsourcing. He worked with many healthcare staffing firms to get experience in recruiting, credentialing, sales, and back-office operations (accounting, IT, legal, etc.). This gave Doro exposure to working with:

Federal government agencies, such as
The Veterans Administration
The Department of Defense, including the U.S. Army and Navy
The Department of Health and Human Services
State and local agencies are in need of a wide range of human capital and staffing services.
Doro also spent time developing other business skills, such as:
Performing marketing presentations
Generating proposals
Developing scheduling, credentialing, coordination, and deployment programs
